First Line Friday #62

It's another snowy Friday in Michigan. I hope you are snug and warm wherever you find yourself reading this post. I'm quite comfortable sitting here in my recliner as I look out at the snow drifting along by the force of the wind. Winter is beautiful from the inside looking out.

On First Line Friday today, I am featuring my current read. I haven't finished it yet. I'm actually only in chapter 6, but I'm quite impressed with this author's writing and story-telling ability. The book is called The Chieftain's Choice (The Wolf Deceivers Book 1) and it's written by Elaine Manders. It's a Scottish Highlander story about an arranged marriage, and it sounds promising.

Now it’s your turn. First Line Friday is something every reader can participate in. Pick up a book near you. Type the first line in the comments, along with the title of the book and the author.
