The theme for this week's First Line Friday is one of the following: Savior, generosity, faith, redemption, festivities, love. I have chosen a book I am currently reading. It's a Christian gothic mystery/romance. Faith is intermingled throughout the story as well as love. Not just romance, but love toward our fellow man also. Lady Jayne Disappears was written by Joanna Davidson Politano.

"Well, Miss Harcourt. Are you, or are you not, Nathaniel Droll?"
I haven't actually finished reading this novel yet. I'm at about 60% and am completely captivated by it. It's about a writer who is trying to unravel a mystery about her parents. She is publishing stories under the pen name Nathaniel Droll unbeknownst to her family and friends. As a writer, I'm especially fascinated by her thinking process and how it plays out in her storytelling.
Now it’s your turn. First Line Friday is something every reader can participate in. Pick up a book near you. Type the first line in the comments, along with the title of the book and the author. If you’d like, check out the books other readers have featured on their blogs by clicking on the Hoarding Books link at the end of this post.
