First Line Friday #52

I am currently in Austria. My husband and I flew here to attend my youngest cousin's wedding (same age as my daughter). The beauty in this country is simply breathtaking. And it's wonderful to see some of my family from Brazil, who also flew here for the wedding, and my family in Vorarlberg, Austria. You can see some pictures from our trip HERE.I missed First Line Friday last week because we were all busy with wedding preparations. Although we are still in Austria for a couple more days, I don't want to miss two weeks in a row. As you can well imagine, I don't have much time for reading while traveling around Austria and visiting with family, but I will share a book I read a while back. It's a sweet novel by Robin Lee Hatcher called A Wish and a Prayer. This book is just a bit similar to the old classic Christmas movie It's a Wonderful Life because of an angel in the story. For a description of the book click on the picture of the book or the title of the book.

PrologueIdaho, 1897

"Having four legs and claws had its benefits, Angel Emeline decided as she scratched a hard-to-reach spot with her hind leg."

Chapter One

"Felicity pulled the long hat pin from her bonnet as she glanced at the white cat standing on the sofa."
